Big Woody

The board this blog was named after. A 60's style longboard that is 9'8 long and built for cruising. This board is under construction with both the deck and bottom skins attached. Now the rails need to be attached and then we're in business.
This board will have a big old D-fin and 50-50 rails, and will be an awesome noserider. This board like my others is built from reused and recycled wood. It has Mahogany, Pine and Merbau strips. Like my other boards I like to use wood that has been discarded or brought from recycled building materials. Using materials that others discard to create awesome handcrafted pieces of functional art. As the saying goes Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.

The quality control team were keeping an eye on the board to make sure it was coming together well.
