About 6 months ago whilst surfing the net I came across some pictures of wooden surfboards. I was immediately taken by how beautiful these boards looked and interested in how they would perform in the surf. After realising the price was beyond my means as a school teacher I started to wonder whether it would be feasible to build my own. After a lot of trial and error I had finally finished my first board. A twin fin fish that went fantastic in small and week waves.
The experiment had succeeded and I was hooked. My next board is a thruster that has been completed and is ready for me to glass.
I also have a mini simmons and 9'8 longboard under construction. Through this blog I will be post about all things surfing that I find interesting.
