Finding wood for my little piggy

Driving to work this morning and went past a pile of wooden pallets with a sign saying, free firewood. Why not see if I could use some of this wood in a surfboard. I grabbed 3 pallets, that were the lightest and seemed in the best shape. Also had some plywood there so grabbed that for the internal frame.
