First surf on the mini simmons went very well. The surf was small and weak and I had been riding the 9'8 when I thought I'd try out the Mini. My knee is feeling a lot better but still sore with any twisting movements. I managed to catch 6 or 7 little waves quite easily and the board held in well and turned easily. It went much better than I thought it would and am really keen to see how the mini will go with better waves. I was expecting that it would slide out if I put too much effort into turn but held its line really well. happy to have another fun, interesting and functional board to add to my quiver.
